My business trip to Laoag proved fruitful.  As I got to NAIA’s Terminal 2 I spot the entire BMEG basketball team lounging around at Ya Kun Kaya Toast.   I kept it cool and proceeded to order my regular Kaya Toast set.  But then “The Captain” walked in.  Alvin Patrimonio has always been a basketball idol of mine.  He was the main reason I became a BMEG fan (then Purefoods) and why I used to wear jersey number 16. I immediately asked to take a picture with him.  And true to form he was very accommodating.  We even chatted about BMEG’s missed opportunities in the recently concluded PBA conference. What a great experience. :)
